Mass recall in France: this Listeria-contaminated beef must not be eaten!
These two batches of groceries were sold all over France. They are mainly found at two reputable brands viz Cora and crossing. The second recalled batch was on sale between July 13 and July 19, 2022. It is also a cooked roast beef that is sold by the piece. 37 Cora hypermarkets they sell in all four corners of France, as does a Migros shop.
The recall procedure thus affects Cora branches in Auxerre and Dijon. The list is long, but here are some of those places: Rennes, Nancy, Lunéville, Massy, Soissons, etc.

Beef: what health risk?
The Institut Pasteur states that the bacterium is Listeria monocytogenes responsible for listeriosis. The latter is a pathology that can affect humans but also animals.
As for the symptoms, we have to watch out for fever. The person who consumed the contaminated product may feel headache and body aches. The person can also feel indigestion followed by nausea or vomiting. In some cases it could be neurological complications such as meningitis or encephalitis.
People who are particularly at risk should pay attention to these symptoms. Listeriosis can occur in pregnant women serious consequences for the unborn child. Maternal or fetal damage can occur. Elderly and immunocompromised people should also be careful.
