Condor becomes an all-Airbus operator

It is not the first time that Condor and Airbus have done business. A year ago, the two actors agreed on an assignment 16 A330neos. The German company wanted to renew its existing long-haul fleet Boeing 767.

“Following Condor’s decision to order the A330neo for its long-haul network, we are doubly grateful to the company that, following a process, they also chose the Airbus A320neo Family to modernize their single-aisle fleet. We are proud of such a vote of confidence and welcome it in Condor as a future all-Airbus operator.”

This month July 2022 these are 41 A320neo and A321neo that have been ordered. “We are consistently developing our fleet and our business while respecting our claim to enable responsible and comfortable travel that emits significantly less CO2, consumes significantly less kerosene and causes less noise,” says Ralf Teckentrup, CEO of Condor.

A company with explosive charisma

In recent months, Condor planes have been making a fun sport striped look in five colors: yellow, red, blue, green and beige. This new identity, created under the direction of Berlin-based designer Remo Masala, is also reflected in the accessories on board the aircraft, but also in the crew’s outfits.

With this striped style, Condor wants to tie in with “the essence of the Condor brand: holiday flight”. That “summer stripes” embodies in the eyes of the designer “joy and freedom”.
