In the first half of 2022, the product inspection and certification specialist announced adjusted net income of 248.6 million euros, up 15.8% (+10.5% at constant exchange rates). Corresponding adjusted earnings per share were €0.55 versus €0.48, an increase of 15.2% (+9.9% at constant exchange rates). Sales also increased by 11.4% to 2.69 billion euros (6.9% at constant exchange rates).

CGG, a specialist in underground exploration, had a group profit of $16 million in the second quarter of 2022 compared to a loss of $51 million in the previous year. Revenue rose 33% to $228 million. Business unit (Geoscience, Earth & Data, Sensing & Monitoring) EBITDA was $126 million ($122 million adjusted), a high margin of 52% due to a favorable revenue mix versus 27% a year ago.
