Massive recall in France: especially in summer do not consume this very popular food, dangerous and contaminated, it is packet of crisps

- Alnatura organic corn chips natural (125 g). They will be marketed almost everywhere in France between March 31st and July 26th, 2022 and will be barcoded 4104420239340 and 4104420239340.
- Organic tortilla chips Bouton d’Or (150 g). They will be available in Intermarché stores between February 14 and July 27, 2022 and will be barcoded 3250392560256.
- Plain tortilla chips from Auchan. The batches affected by the recall will be marketed in all Auchan stores in France until July 26, 2022 and will have an International Article Code (GTIN). 3596710465019 and 3596710465026.
- Organic tortilla chips plain (150 g) and Bio Village chili tortilla chips (150 g). Available in Leclerc stores between February 1st and July 26th, 2022, the international item code (GTIN) 3564707115728 and 3564707152945.
- Organic Carrefour Chili Tortilla Chips (125 g). The tickets that will be available on the shelves of Carrefour stores between February 24th and July 22nd, 2022 will be marked with the barcode 3564707115728 and 3564707152945.

Packs of contaminated chips: the reflexes you must have
The ice cream flavors affected by the recall are not edible because the amount of tropane alkaloids they contain is greater than normal. Note that taking these tropane alkaloids in excessive amounts can be harmful to your health.

The following batches are affected by the recall procedure:
- Häagen-Dazs Multipack Ice Cream. They were marketed between all over France March 8 and July 29, 2022.
- Ice cream, mini cups and pots. They have meanwhile been sold in several large supermarkets in France March 16 and July 29, 2022. Your best before date is between March 16 and April 29, 2023.
- Häagen-Dazs brand sticks and mini sticks. They were sold in several supermarkets including Casino, Auchan, Carrefour, Intermarché and Monoprix. The expiry date of the products is between the included March 16 and April 29, 2023.
Reminder Conso warns that 2-chloroethanol is a hazardous chemical contaminant. It is toxic and can harm the health of consumers. For this reason, it is important not to consume the ice creams that are the subject of a recall. In fact, it is better to throw them away or destroy them. If you bring them back to the point of sale, you can also get a refund.
