Redesigned Dacia Duster Commercial: prices and details!

Launched and marketed in the UK, the new Dacia Duster Commercial sees a price increase but remains one of the most affordable vans on the market. This version is now benefiting from an update, several English media reports.

Dacia refreshed the retail version with a new trim level and exterior tweaks. Powertrain options remain the same for the Duster Commercial, as does payload capacity. Dacia states that the first deliveries are planned for the last quarter of 2022.

Dacia this year introduced a new “Link” badge that appears on the grille, while a new “Dacia” lettering appears on the tailgate. A new design of Y-shaped lights also appears at the rear. The silver trim on the SUV’s bumpers has been replaced with a durable black plastic alternative. The rest is identical to that of the production SUV.

Inside, there are also many similarities between the revamped Commercial Duster and the standard Duster. It features the same seats and Dacia’s new 8-inch infotainment system, supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Of course, on the steering wheel we find the new Dacia logo.

The load capacity of the Duster Commercial remains unchanged, allowing it to carry 1,623 liters of equipment and a maximum payload of 503 kg, depending on the model. In addition, Dacia installed extra dark rear windows and a luggage compartment cover over the entire length of the luggage compartment.

The Duster Commercial is available in two trim levels, Essential and Expression, which start at £13,995 (ex VAT) and £18,145 (ex VAT) respectively. Standard equipment includes LED daytime running lights, black roof bars, 16-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, front power windows, cruise control with speed limiter, trip computer, DAB radio with Bluetooth connectivity and USB port.

The Expression version adds: a rear view camera, parking sensors, descent control and a central differential lock on 4×4 versions. Inside, there’s a leather steering wheel, armrest, wood trim for the driver’s seat, an 8-inch infotainment screen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and two USB ports.

Three engines are available for the Duster Commercial. The petrol range includes a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder that produces 89 hp and 160 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox.

The only diesel engine available for the Duster Commercial is the turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder that develops 113 hp and 260 Nm of torque. Prices start from £16,485 (excl. VAT) for the front-wheel drive model. The four-wheel drive setup with a central locking differential starts at £17,495.
