Tesla Model S and Model X Plaid (1020 hp): Orders for Europe are open

Tesla announces the reopening of orders for the Model S and Model X in the plaid version. The first deliveries are planned between November and December 2022. The admission ticket costs 138,990 euros for the Model S Plaid and 141,990 euros for the X Plaid.
“We’re excited to announce that the Model S and Model X Plaid are on their way to Europe.”, according to Tesla’s statement. This is news that should please European fans of the manufacturer who are eagerly waiting to order the updated versions of the Model S and Model X Plaid.
Only the plaid version with three electric motors (tri-motor) and all-wheel drive is offered. Future owners will be able to touch them between December 2022 and February 2023. As for the versions with two electric motors (Dual Motor) and all-wheel drive, their deliveries will not take place before 2023, assuming orders are currently open.
A Model S Plaid with 600 km of autonomy
The Model S Plaid is available in the Tesla configurator and is characterized by the presence of three electric motors with a total power of 1020 hp (top speed of 322 km/h) and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.1 s. The announced range is 600 km (WLTP cycle).

Starting at €138,990, this Model S Plaid comes standard with a pearl white exterior (calculate between €1,800 and €2,200 for other colors), 19-inch rims (Tempest model) and an all-black interior (€2,400 for a black and white or beige) with three screens, including a central 17-inch swivel screen (diagonal of 43.18 cm, resolution of 2200×1300 pixels). A second 8-inch (20.32 cm diagonal) screen is placed in the second row for rear-seat passengers’ attention.
The third is the instrument cluster of 12.3 inches (diagonal of 31.24 cm). There’s also the famous yoke half-flywheel that’s also present on the Model X Plaid.
The autopilot remains a paid option (from 3800 to 7500 €), as is the towbar (towing capacity up to 1600 kg).
A Model X Plaid with only six passengers
The Model X Plaid is also equipped with three electric motors with a total power of 1020 hp (top speed 262 km/h). The 0 to 100 km/h takes a little longer: 2.6 s.

The American SUV, which retains its Falcon rear doors – the opening reminiscent of a falcon’s wings – will only be offered in a six-passenger version, while the classic Model X can carry up to seven people.
On the equipment side, the Model X Plaid is almost identical to the Model S Plaid, namely a pearl white exterior color, a black passenger compartment, which also comes with three screens: a pivoting 17-inch central screen, an 8-inch screen and the instrument panel Cluster 12.3 inches. The differences relate to the presence of 20-inch rims (Cyberstream model) and the huge panoramic glass roof. Please note here that the trailer hitch (trailer load up to 2500 kg) is offered as standard.
The Model X Plaid is available from €141,990 with no options.
