Set up by the government on Janah April 2022 the tank discount will change this 1ah September. The extraordinary aid to support motorists in the face of rising prices is increasing today and will continue for a few months.
Up to 30 cents discount per liter
The one on the 1ah From today, the government will increase the fare at the pump. Until October 31, the subsidy in mainland France is 30 euro cents including tax per liter; at 28.25 euro cents including tax per liter in Corsica and 25 euro cents including tax per liter in Martinique, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Réunion and Mayotte.
The subsidy also changes for natural gas, going from €15 to €25 per megawatt-hour (MWh), as for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG-c), as it decreases from €29.13 for 100 kg net to €48.55 by October 31 .
The extension of this subsidy in favor of purchasing power affects all motorists, private individuals and tradespeople and is the result of the parliamentary vote on the Purchasing Power Act last July.
Discounts that could be even greater for motorists driving to total stations. The oil giant has announced it is adding its own fuel rebate to that of the state. While the group had already made a reduction of 12 cents per liter this summer, it is increasing it from 1 to 20 cents per literah September to October 31st. During this period, drivers will receive a cumulative discount of up to 32 cents per liter.
Aid cuts from November 1st
From the beginning of November, drivers can then expect prices to rise again if the economic situation does not improve. The fuel rebate will be increased from 30 euro cents to 10 euro cents including tax per liter in mainland France; 9.42 euro cents including taxes in Corsica and 8.33 euro cents including taxes in Martinique, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Réunion and Mayotte.
The same applies to the subsidies for the fuel natural gas, which are granted at €8.33 per megawatt hour (MWh) and for the purchase of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG-c), which decreases to €16.18 per megawatt hour (MWh) per 100 kg net .
These discounts are valid until December 31, as specified in the Purchasing Power Act.
At Total, too, the aid at the end of the year is lower. The gas stations of the group halve from 1ah November and up to December 31 from 20 to 10 cents per liter.
